Organic, earth-friendly, hand-made, and recycled. That’s the kaupapa of SerendipiDay community fayre in Kerikeri, Northland, New Zealand.
A weekly gathering of beautiful souls on an organic farm, adjacent to a banana grove and community garden – it’s a picture perfect and relaxed setting.
Created during the stress of 2022 (remember Covid?), SerendipiDay provides an oasis for likeminded people to relax and linger. You won’t find any children on devices here; instead, they’re running, playing, laughing – being kids.
Live music each week is a huge drawcard, as is the delicious organic food: curries, nachos, soup, smoothies, chocolates and more.

As one of the founding organisers of SerendipiDay, my role was to communicate and publicise the fayre. With a budget of zero dollars, I managed to quickly create a free website for the event, using my own photographs, and writing the content.
